We here at Insider Tech LOVE Windscribe VPN.
For those who don’t already know, VPNs (or Virtual Private Networks) allow you to encrypt your traffic and proxy it through a remote computer. This allows you to:
- Make it seem as though you are in a different geographical location (very handy when trying to view movies or things that are only allowed in a different country)
- Encrypts your web traffic so that hackers can’t intercept any of your precious data when connected to unprotected networks (e.g., coffee shops, libraries, etc)
- Anonymize your activity online. This is a big selling point to many people that choose to use P2P networks or Torrent clients.
Now, you might be asking yourself “why Windscribe?”
- Unlimited data
- Servers in 63 countries and 110 cities
- Config generator for easy access and usage
- “R.O.B.E.R.T.” technology — advanced ad and tracking protection
Pricing:
Nearly everything has been perfect during our time with Windscribe. Our only complaint is that the service is a bit pricey. Because of this, Windscribe is not for everyone. If you are looking for something simple to protect your data when using public WiFi networks in coffee shops, this may be overkill. But, if you’re a power user and like to download lots of things, or stream content from overseas, Windscribe is a great candidate.
With all of this said, and everything considered, we here at Insider Tech give Windscribe the following rating:
[ 8.5 / 10 ]
